How Does the PetSafe® Citronella Spray Remote Trainer Work?

The Petsafe SPT-85 Cintronella Spray allows you to effectively communicate with your dog and successfully reinforce positive behaviours.

Use the remote transmitter to activate the receiver collar of your dog - a safe citronella spray stimulation will be emitted and this distracts your dogs from the undesirable behaviours which also helps you redirect your dog to positive behaviours. Your command can reach up to 85 meters away with just a push of a button.

2 Levels of Citronella Spray Stimulation + Tone Only Mode

The PetSafe® Citronella Spray Remote Trainer is designed with a short spray setting and a long spray setting - you can select either one of them depending on your dog’s temperament. The tone only option allows you to train your dog without the Citronella spray.

Citronella came from a southern Asian grass which is used to make this fragrant natural oil… This is also used as an insect repellant and perfume for soaps because of its sweet and natural scent.

Waterproof Receiver Collar + Water-Resistant Remote Transmitter

You don’t have to restrict your water-loving furry friend from playing in the rain or in a pool of water - this remote training collar is completely submersible in water and would cause your dog no harm but please remember that your remote transmitter is water-resistant only. This is perfect for indoor and outdoor training.

Up to 85 Metres Signal Range

This remote trainer is suited for pet dogs being trained for unwanted behaviours or short distance recall. However, we do not recommend this for working dogs who may go further than 85m.
